Dear Mike & Va-Va, this poem reminded me of your beloved mom; she was ready to go and be with Jesus and Pop too, she had such peace the last time I saw her, she wasn't afraid, she was ready. I know the day you both held her hand as she passed from here to Heaven was heartbreaking for you both; yet I know you wouldn't of wanted to be anywhere else, she was able to go in peace with the children she loved so much by her side. May the Lord bring you comfort and peace while you miss her until the day the Wilson family will all be together again in Heaven.

A Glad Homecoming
by Margaret Cagle I knelt by the bedside Of an elderly dying saint. Her body was frail and weak. Her voice was soft and faint. "I'm going home," she whispered. "I already see the light. I hear the beautiful music. The angels are in sight." It seemed her strength renewed As she tightly squeezed my hand. She said, "Just keep the faith 'Til we meet in Glory Land. My heart felt so very heavy, And I knew I should be sad, But as I beheld that Godly saint, Her homecoming made me glad. |
Thank You for Making Me ''Family"
Nanna welcomed me to her family with an open heart and open arms,
I fell in love with her and all her charms
She was the kindest, sweetest woman I've ever known
she treated me like one of her own
I miss her so very much, her southern way always
made my day
I have never known a woman like her, she was one of a kind
my memories of her will forever live in my heart & mind

Thanks Nanna for making me an honorary ''Wilson''
